ellen lyle / open collision dance

ellen lyle / open collision dance is an ever-evolving collective of young Atlanta artists seeking to engage experimentally in the process of dance-making and performance. open collision aims to create work that is fresh, adventurous and undefined by style or technique. It seeks to elevate the role of the viewer as a vital part of the performance, engaging the audience physically, intellectually and emotionally.

open collision's overall mission is to unite the artist and the community, to open up the viewing of dance to a wider audience, and in turn to act as an outlet for service, often in collaboration with other organizations. open collision hopes to also provide an open forum for dialogue and feedback in regards to the work itself and the discussion of art within community and society.
